Hi, I am Iliana Stoyanova
I’m a psychotherapeutic counsellor working with adults online and in London. I’m registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I value honesty, authenticity, and respect, and this is how I try to show up in both therapy practice and in life. My way of working is grounded, relational, and human. I’m naturally curious about people, cultures, and how different environments shape how we live and relate.
Alongside this, I’ve had a lifelong interest in philosophy and exploration around power, fairness, and social justice, particularly where majority and minority experiences intersect. This has naturally led to personal and professional interest in neurodiversity and difference, informed by both professional learning and lived experience, including within my wider family.
This perspective also informs my neurodivergent-affirmative approach to therapy, including work with ADHD, burnout, and relationship difficulties.
I’ve always had a wide range of interests, and my life hasn’t followed a single, neat path. Alongside my therapy training, I’ve studied design, photography, industrial management, and accounting, to name a few, and have run customer-facing businesses for many years. Some of these paths were brief, some lasted longer, and others are still unfolding. I’ve always enjoyed supporting and empowering people.
Many of the people I work with are navigating ADHD, neurodivergence, burnout, relationship difficulties, anxiety, low mood, or questions of identity and self-understanding. I aim to offer a space that is thoughtful, collaborative, and respectful of each person's unique way of experiencing the world.
