Couples Therapy in London & Online UK

Support for couples who feel stuck in patterns but want to reconnect.

You might be experiencing:

* Conversations that go in circles

* Feeling misunderstood or “missing each other”

* Differences in communication or emotional expression

* Growing frustration, distance, or defensiveness

* Wanting things to improve, but not knowing how

Many couples come to therapy not because they want to separate — but because they care, and something isn’t working.

How I work with couples

In our work together, we slow things down and look at what’s happening beneath these patterns.

Rather than focusing on blame, we work toward:

* Understanding each partner’s experience

* Recognising emotional and nervous system responses

* Improving communication and reducing misunderstandings

* Creating a greater sense of safety and connection

Over time, this can help shift things from frustration and disconnection toward clarity and renewed connection.

Neurodiversity & relationships

I work in a neurodivergent-affirming way, including with ADHD and mixed neurotype couples.

Differences in attention, communication, or sensory experience can often be misunderstood as lack of effort, withdrawal, or criticism.

In therapy, we explore these differences with curiosity — not judgment — and find ways of relating that genuinely work for both of you.

My approach

I work in a relational, collaborative, and flexible way.

Therapy isn’t something done to you — we work together, paying attention to what feels helpful and adjusting as we go.

At times, our work may be more reflective — exploring patterns, past experiences, and emotional dynamics.

At other times, we may focus more on practical tools and strategies (including CBT-informed approaches), particularly around communication and regulation.

I offer both short-term, focused work and longer-term therapy for deeper exploration.

Starting therapy as a couple

Beginning couples therapy can feel like a big step — especially if things have been difficult for a while.

It may involve having conversations that feel challenging or unfamiliar.

But it can also create space for understanding, repair, and meaningful change.

I tend to work best with couples who are open to reflection, curious about each other’s perspectives, and willing to try something different — even if things feel stuck.
